Regional Studies Center held a seminar for the research entitled \u201cEgyptian Foreign Policy towards the Syrian Crisis 2011-2023,\u201d which was presented by Assist. Lecturer \u201cMunjid Muhammad Fawzi\u201d on October 22, 2023.
\nThe seminar aimed to identify the form and nature of Egyptian policy towards Syria after 2011 and the directions of Egyptian foreign policy under President Mohammad Morsi (2012-2013), as well as to understand the nature of the change that occurred in Egyptian foreign policy after Abdel Fattah al-Sisi assumed the presidency in Egypt in 2013. In addition to identifying the shape of Egyptian-Syrian relations during (2011-2023).
\nThe research included three sections; the first one discussed the foreign policy followed by the ruling military council in Egypt towards Syria, the second section reviewed the Egyptian position and policy towards the Syrian crisis during the era of Mohammad Morsi, and the third one focused on tracking developments in Egyptian foreign policy towards the situation in Syria during (2013-2023).
