Regional Studies Center held a seminar for the research entitled \u201cThe Turkish Elections of 2023 and their Repercussions on the Justice and Development Party,\u201d presented by the assistant lecturer, \u201cFawzi Muhammad Al-Abadi,\u201d on November 26, 2023.<\/p>\n
The seminar aimed to analyze the Justice and Development Party\u2019s program, its goals, and the popular base on which it relies, giving a hint of each party\u2019s performance during the previous elections, and analyzing the positive and negative reflections of these elections on the Justice and Development Party in all aspects and their impact on all Turkish states, especially since Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated on more than one occasion to promote his party in the elections that \u201cwhoever wins in Ankara and Istanbul rules Turkey.\u201d<\/p>\n
The seminar covered several topics divided into three topics. The first topic shed light on the results of the previous elections, while the second topic touched on the Turkish elections of 2023. The third topic reviewed the reflections of these elections on the Justice and Development Party.
