Regional Studies Center held a seminar \u201cfor the research titled \u201cThe Soft Power in Iranian Foreign Policy toward Iraq after 2003,\u201d presented by Assist. Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Khalaf Muhammad\u201d on December 3, 2023.<\/p>\n
The seminar aimed to identify Iran\u2019s cultural, diplomatic, and economic soft power and its components in Iranian foreign policy, learn how Iran uses that power to achieve its foreign goals and orientations, and know about Iran\u2019s goals and interests in Iraq, in addition to learning about Iranian policy towards Iraq after 2003.<\/p>\n
The seminar included two main topics, the first of which discussed the concept of soft power and its sources, while the second topic reviewed the means and tools for employing Iranian soft power in foreign policy towards Iraq.
