The Director of the Regional Studies Center, Assist. Prof. Dr. Tareq Mohammad Tayeb Dhahir, held an extensive meeting with the center\u2019s administrative staff on Tuesday, March 1, 2026. to discuss the main obstacles affecting daily operations and explore proposed solutions to enhance institutional performance and increase operational efficiency.<\/p>\n
The meeting reviewed administrative and organizational challenges and examined strategies for developing the work environment to improve the quality of the research and academic services provided by the center. The Director emphasized the importance of teamwork, transparency, and effective communication across all administrative units.<\/p>\n
He also stressed that addressing these challenges is closely linked to adopting principles of good governance, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 16 (\u201cPeace, Justice, and Strong Institutions\u201d), by strengthening institutional efficiency, reinforcing accountability, and ensuring responsive service to beneficiaries. The discussion also aligned with Goal 8 (\u201cDecent Work and Economic Growth\u201d) through the creation of a motivating and productive work environment, and with Goal 17 (\u201cPartnerships for the Goals\u201d) by promoting internal collaboration and integrating roles across the center.<\/p>\n
