Regional Studies Center at the University of Mosul participated in the celebration organized by the Department of Science and Technology Parks on the occasion of the Iraqi National Entrepreneurship Day. The event took place in Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jalili Hall on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in the presence of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, along with members of the University Council.<\/p>\n
The Center\u2019s participation reflects its role in supporting knowledge-based and developmental initiatives that promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, which are considered key drivers for achieving sustainable development and strengthening the knowledge economy within the local community. This is particularly significant in Nineveh Province, which is undergoing a phase of recovery and reconstruction that requires pioneering ideas and sustainable projects.<\/p>\n
Representatives of the Center emphasized during the event the importance of integrating the academic and practical dimensions in nurturing entrepreneurial projects and linking them to public policies. Such integration contributes to creating a supportive environment for creative youth and reinforces the university\u2019s direction toward becoming a productive institution with a meaningful impact on its regional surroundings.<\/p>\n
