On April 19, 2026, Regional Studies Center organized a scientific lecture entitled \u201cThe Use of Artificial Intelligence in Armed Conflicts\u201d, delivered by Prof. Dr. Imad K. Ibrahim, in the presence of a distinguished group of academics, researchers, and students interested in security and technological affairs. The lecture aimed to highlight the rapid transformations taking place in the field of conflict due to modern technologies, and to examine the impact of artificial intelligence on the development of warfare tools and conflict management.<\/p>\n
During his presentation, the speaker addressed key applications of artificial intelligence in the military domain, including intelligence data analysis and automated decision-making, in addition to the ethical and legal challenges associated with the use of these technologies. He also emphasized the importance of establishing international regulatory frameworks to ensure the responsible use of technology in a manner that preserves international peace and security.<\/p>\n
