The Director of the Remote Sensing Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Ramzi Quba<\/strong>, chaired two separate meetings for the Center\u2019s departments\u2014the Digital Processing Department<\/strong> and the Natural Resources and Engineering Sciences Department<\/strong>\u2014with the attendance of department heads and researchers from both departments, on Tuesday, 3\/2\/2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the meetings, the planned and completed research activities for the 2025\u20132026 academic year<\/strong> were reviewed, and mechanisms for developing joint scientific research<\/strong> were discussed. Emphasis was placed on completing ongoing studies and striving to publish research outputs in reputable scientific journals<\/strong>, as well as enhancing the Center\u2019s presence in international indexing databases<\/strong>. The meetings also addressed the organization of a specialized seminar<\/strong> during this semester and encouraging researchers to complete the planned training courses and workshops<\/strong> for the current year.<\/p>\n

Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Ramzi Quba stressed the importance of unifying scientific efforts<\/strong> and exchanging expertise<\/strong> among departments, in a manner that contributes to producing high-quality, publishable research<\/strong> and achieving the University\u2019s objectives of increasing scientific publication output<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
