On Wednesday, 11\/2\/2026, the Remote Sensing Center organized a scientific workshop entitled:
\u201cOptimizing Smart Rainwater Harvesting System Using Metaheuristic Algorithms for Sustainable Water Management,\u201d<\/strong> delivered by Dr. Abeer Adel Mohammed, Lecturer at the Remote Sensing Center. The workshop was conducted as part of the Center\u2019s scientific activities aimed at promoting applied research in the field of sustainable water resources management.<\/p>\n

The workshop provided a detailed presentation on the development of an intelligent model designed to enhance the efficiency of rainwater harvesting systems through the use of metaheuristic algorithms. It highlighted the role of sensing technologies and data analysis in improving storage efficiency, reducing losses, and optimizing distribution and management processes.<\/p>\n
