The activities of the Sustainable University Week at the University of Mosul concluded on Thursday, April 30, 2026, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University, at Mahmoud Al-Jalili Hall, with broad official and academic attendance.<\/p>\n

During the closing ceremony, the Remote Sensing Center was honored in recognition of its active role and distinguished contribution to the success of the week\u2019s events. Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Ramzi Qubaa, Director of the Center, received the Sustainable Week Shield on behalf of the Center, in his capacity as a member of the University\u2019s Central Preparatory Committee.<\/p>\n

The Center\u2019s contributions included developing examination questions and supervising the Environmental Knowledge Competition, in addition to participating in the Sustainability Exhibition held alongside the University Day for two days.<\/p>\n

The Center\u2019s administration emphasized that this achievement reflects the continuous efforts of its staff\u2014particularly the Sustainable Development Committee\u2014in advancing sustainable university initiatives, thereby contributing to the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and reinforcing sustainability concepts within the academic environment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
