Under the supervision and follow-up of Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, and the members of the College Council, and in the presence of a number of our college\u2019s members, and within our college\u2019s programs in scientific and cognitive communication with the rest of the state\u2019s departments and institutions, our college hosted on Monday, January 22, 2024, Lieutenant Saif Hazem Muhammad. And Commissioner Omar Ahmed Saleh \/ River Civil Defense Center in Nineveh Governorate, who gave a practical lecture on firefighting methods and mechanisms, going over the types of fire extinguishers and their uses, the meanings of the symbols and written expressions found on each extinguisher, indicating their sizes, the steps that must be followed when a fire breaks out, and methods of preventing suffocation, with emphasis. He stressed the importance of regular maintenance of fire stations, with reference to the toll-free line 115 for fire departments, which is available from any mobile phone. The attendees also asked many questions and inquiries about the topic of the workshop, which were answered in detail by those in charge of it. This workshop comes within a series of scientific and cultural activities.
