\nOn Tuesday, March 19, 2024, the Private Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master\u2019s thesis on moral influence and its effect on contracts, some of which were banned by Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal al-Din al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law, and a number of members of the University\u2019s two councils. Mosul and the College of Law and its teachers.
\nThe thesis submitted by researcher Faleh Haider Khader in the private law branch dealt with moral influence and its effect on the will of the party affected by it. Thus, one party to the contract has authority over the other party, and it differs from the rest of the defects of will in that moral influence requires the existence of a relationship between the party affected by the moral influence and the holder of the authority.
\nThe message aims to explain that moral influence is a defect that affects the will of one of the parties to the contract and makes the contract dependent on the will of the person affected by moral influence, and he has the right to approve or reject the contract.
\nThe discussion committee was headed by Professor Dr. Akram Mahmoud Hussein, the membership of Professor Dr. Yousry Walid Ibrahim, the assistant professor Dr. Raida Muhammad Mahmoud, and the membership and supervision of Professor Dr. Muhammad Siddiq Muhammad.
