Master\u2019s thesis in the private law branch on the principle of freedom of proof in commercial disputes \/ a comparative study,,,
\nOn Wednesday, March 20, 2024, the Private Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master\u2019s thesis on the principle of freedom of proof in commercial disputes, part of which was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College, and a number of members of the College Council and its faculty.
\nThe thesis submitted by researcher Muthanna Khalaf Khadr in the private law branch dealt with the principle of freedom of proof in commercial disputes, which means that commercial matters should be proven by all means of proof without restriction, even if the value of the legal transaction exceeds the amount specified in civil transactions, except for what is excluded by a special text.
\nThe letter aims to show that the Iraqi legislator and comparative laws did not know the principle of freedom of proof in commercial disputes, which is a good position since defining legal terms is one of the tasks of legal jurisprudence.
