On the tenth anniversary of the genocide that our Yazidi people were subjected to, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Raqib Muhammad Jassim, Director of the UNESCO Chair at the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nimat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law, participated on behalf of Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, in the official central celebration held in the city of Sinjar and in the memorial to the Yazidi genocide, which came within the framework of commemorating the memory and preserving the memory in order to stand on the most heinous crime witnessed by the era, represented by the invasion of the terrorist ISIS gangs of this proud and peaceful Iraqi city and this defenseless people on August 3, 2014, and committing the most heinous crimes that shame humanity against peaceful, defenseless citizens. Participation in the above celebration represented a national and popular recognition that our Iraq is proud, proud, and unified with its sons, sects, and nationalities that form a unified spectrum that is proud of love and solidarity.
