Based on the directives of Professor Dr. Wahid Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, on the necessity of openness and interaction with society and based on the plans and programs of the Deanship of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College and the members of the College Council, a number of professors and instructors from our college visited on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, a number of schools in Nineveh Governorate, including Nineveh High School for the Distinguished and Ibn Al-Atheer Intermediate School for Girls. Guidance lectures were given on the effects of drug abuse, misuse of electronic means and social communication, electronic blackmail, domestic violence and bullying, and explaining their danger to the security of society and the safety of its individuals, with a statement of the precautionary measures capable of combating them and how to avoid and eliminate them. Our college instructors explained the effects of this scourge on the entity and stability of society. The initiative was well received and appreciated by school administrations, who praised the fruitful role of the University of Mosul, its colleges and research centers, which had an effective impact in spreading scientific culture. And humanity in all its specializations among the classes and segments of society.
