– Supervised 15 Master’s theses and seven doctoral dissertations at the College of Law, University of Mosul, in addition to participating in the drafting of the Bahraini Civil Code.<\/div>\n
Publications and Research:<\/div>\n
– Six books in the fields of civil law, commercial law, and personal status law<\/div>\n
– More than 40 published academic papers in her areas of specialization.<\/div>\n
National and International Contributions:<\/div>\n
– Representing Iraq in a meeting with Dr. Lakhdar Brahimi (UN envoy) on the night of her martyrdom, where she delivered a speech opposing the partition of Iraq.<\/div>\n
Martyrdom and Legacy:<\/div>\n
– Martyred with her husband (Munir Al-Khairou) in 2004 in a terrorist attack targeting their home in Mosul.<\/div>\n
– She is considered a symbol of patriotism and the educated Iraqi woman, leaving an exemplary scientific and legal legacy.<\/div>\n
May God have mercy on her soul and grant her a spacious place in heaven, and inspire her family, relatives, loved ones, and students with patience and solace. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.<\/div>\n
