As part of a series of scientific, research, and academic contributions by members of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Abu Bakr Ahmed Othman, a lecturer in the Public Law Department at our college, delivered a specialized scientific lecture on Monday, June 16, 2025, on government contracts and their relationship to college members. This lecture was part of a scientific workshop held by the Legal Affairs Division at the College of Engineering.<\/p>\n
The lecture addressed government administrative and public contracts, the phenomena of administrative and financial corruption in these contracts, ways to mitigate them, and the achievement of integrity and transparency. It also addressed the relationship of these contracts to administrative employees, how they are concluded, who the parties are, and the agreements concluded regarding topics related to administrative work and the actual need for them. The above participation is part of our college’s plans and programs to interact and communicate with the activities and events held by the University of Mosul’s colleges and research centers, in addition to working to spread legal culture among various segments and groups of society.<\/p>\n
