The Center for Peacebuilding and Peaceful Coexistence, in cooperation with the College of Law at the University of Mosul, held its second scientific conference under the theme:
\n“Together for Environmental Balance and Sustainable Peace.”
\nThe conference was titled: “Environmental Balance and Its Impact on Peacebuilding: Challenges, Opportunities, and Solutions.”
\nThe conference was held at the University of Mosul’s Scientific and Literary Forum on Monday morning, October 7, 2025.
\nThe conference featured a number of solid scientific research and studies across multiple themes, including:
\n\u2022 Legal and Human Rights Theme
\n\u2022 Sociology and Media Theme
\n\u2022 Economics and Development Theme
\n\u2022 Political Science Theme
\n\u2022 Education and Awareness Theme
\nThe scientific sessions discussed a number of papers addressing the impact of environmental balance on achieving social and political stability, ways to empower women in the face of climate change, and legal and economic perspectives for achieving sustainable development.
\nAt the conclusion of the conference, participants made a series of recommendations calling for enhanced cooperation between state institutions and civil society to achieve sustainable environmental peace, emphasizing the importance of continuing to hold such scientific conferences that combine academic research with practical experience.<\/p>\n
