PhDthesis in the public law branch on the criminal confrontation of cyberbullying \/ a comparative study,,,<\/p>\n

On Thursday, September 8, 2022, the Public Law Branch of the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a doctoral thesis on the criminal confrontation of cyberbullying\/a comparative study, part of which was attended by Assistant Professor Dr.<\/p>\n

The thesis submitted by student Marivan Mustafa Rashid in the Public Law Branch dealt with the crime of cyberbullying, which has recently spread remarkably, in which the bully exploits websites such as social networking sites, talk forums, blogs and others to pass on deliberately aggressive messages in strong language, gain, insult, defame, slander … etc. to distort the image The individual receiving and harming him and his psyche reaches the point of depression and suicide to get rid of the bully who is exposed to him.<\/p>\n

The study aims to show the absence of a jurisprudential consensus on defining the meaning of electronic bullying, which is due to the difference in defining the scope of electronic bullying, and the crime of electronic bullying has different methods of committing it and using modern technologies in information networks and modern communication devices.<\/p>\n

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Baraa Munther Kamal, with the membership of Prof. Yasser Muhammad Abdullah, Dr. Muhammad Abbas Hamoudi, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Fadel Saeed, and Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Mahmoud Khalaf, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Nofal Ali Abdullah.<\/p>\n
