Master’s thesis in the branch of public law on Iraq’s accession to the International Criminal Court \/ importance and results,,,
On Thursday, March 2, 2023, the Public Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on Iraq’s accession to the International Criminal Court \/ importance and results. Part of it was attended by Professor Dr. Qusai Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nimat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College Law and a number of college council members and teachers.
The thesis submitted by student Marwa Marwan Ajam in the Public Law branch dealt with the International Criminal Court, which is a judicial body complementary to national courts and enjoys legal personality and has the necessary capacity to exercise its functions and achieve its purposes.
The message aims to show that the international community has established international criminal courts as a result of international crimes and gross violations of international humanitarian law and human rights, as courts were established after the First and Second World Wars.
The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Khalaf Ramadan Muhammad, the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Qusai Ali Abbas, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhad Abdel-Jamal Abdel-Karim, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulaziz Ramadan Ali.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
