On February 21st, 2024, the department of Biology held a workshop on drugs and its effects on society. The workshop included two lectures. The first one included an introduction on the harms of drugs on humans, which was delivered by Dr. Muna Hussein Jangeer and Dr. Hadeel Ahmed Al-Amiri . Also, Mr. Brigadier General Ubey Hashim Aziz, director of the Directorate of Drug Affairs, explained different socially related effects of drugs and thanked the college of science for combating this negative phenomenon.
