Prof. Dr. Haitham Luqman Shahab Al-Hayali<\/strong>, faculty member in the Department of Biology, along with <strong data-start=\"380\" data-end=\"423\">Master\u2019s student Safa Abdulbasit Ismail<\/strong>, successfully registered <strong data-start=\"449\" data-end=\"475\">four genetic mutations<\/strong> in the <strong data-start=\"483\" data-end=\"501\">NCBI Gene Bank<\/strong> under the codes and accession numbers:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"544\" data-end=\"704\">\n<li data-start=\"544\" data-end=\"644\">\n<p data-start=\"546\" data-end=\"644\"><strong data-start=\"546\" data-end=\"569\">SAHA1, SAHA2, SAHA3<\/strong> \u2013 <em data-start=\"572\" data-end=\"605\">Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 Beta<\/em> (PV468254.1, PV468255.1, PV468256.1)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"704\">\n<p data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"704\"><strong data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"656\">SAHA5<\/strong> \u2013 <em data-start=\"659\" data-end=\"689\">Insulin Receptor Substrate 1<\/em> (PV468257.1)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"706\" data-end=\"818\">The samples were collected from patients with <strong data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"774\">insulin resistance<\/strong>, examined by specialized medical doctors.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"820\" data-end=\"996\">This achievement enriches global genetic databases and reflects the <strong data-start=\"888\" data-end=\"937\">research efforts of the Department of Biology<\/strong> in the fields of <strong data-start=\"955\" data-end=\"993\">biochemistry and molecular biology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1120\">\ud83c\udf3f We wish our esteemed faculty and students continued success and excellence in their scientific and academic journeys.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a new scientific achievement adding to the accomplishments of the College of Science, University of Mosul, Asst.
