{"id":41622,"date":"2025-09-09T06:07:14","date_gmt":"2025-09-09T06:07:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uomosul.edu.iq\/en\/science\/?p=41622"},"modified":"2025-09-09T06:07:14","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T06:07:14","slug":"masters-thesis-defense-department-of-chemistry-college-of-science-university-of-mosul-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uomosul.edu.iq\/en\/science\/2025\/09\/09\/masters-thesis-defense-department-of-chemistry-college-of-science-university-of-mosul-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Master\u2019s Thesis Defense \u2013 Department of Chemistry, College of Science, University of Mosul"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"174\" data-end=\"335\">On <strong data-start=\"177\" data-end=\"206\">Monday, September 8, 2025<\/strong>, the Department of Chemistry at the College of Science, University of Mosul, held the defense of the master\u2019s thesis entitled:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"337\" data-end=\"413\"><strong data-start=\"337\" data-end=\"411\">\u201cSpectrophotometric Estimation of Captopril in Pharmaceutical Tablets\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"415\" data-end=\"491\">presented by <strong data-start=\"428\" data-end=\"455\">Sara Ahmed Hazaa Ismail<\/strong> from the Department of Chemistry.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"493\" data-end=\"764\">The study focused on the estimation of <strong data-start=\"532\" data-end=\"545\">Captopril<\/strong> in pharmaceutical formulations, especially tablets, and on developing modern spectrophotometric methods for its accurate and effective determination, contributing to <strong data-start=\"712\" data-end=\"738\">drug quality assurance<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"761\">patient safety<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"1170\">The defense was attended by <strong data-start=\"794\" data-end=\"820\">Prof. Dr. Salem Jassim<\/strong>, Head of the Department of Chemistry, several faculty members, and graduate students. The discussion committee was chaired by <strong data-start=\"947\" data-end=\"985\">Prof. Dr. Nabil Sabih Othman Khidr<\/strong>, with members <strong data-start=\"1000\" data-end=\"1039\">Prof. Dr. Hana Shaker Mahmoud Ahmed<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1044\" data-end=\"1086\">Prof. Dr. Mohammed Salem Sheet Mustafa<\/strong>, supervised and co-supervised by <strong data-start=\"1120\" data-end=\"1167\">Asst.
