Prof. Dr. Muna Hussein Ali Jankir<\/strong>, faculty member in the Department of Biology, College of Science \/ University of Mosul, chaired the PhD dissertation defense committee of student Hamed Mohammed Taqi<\/strong> from the College of Education for Pure Science. His dissertation was entitled:
\u201cExtraction of the Protein Pigment C-Phycocyanin with High Purity and Investigation of Its Effective Impact Against Pathogenic Bacteria and Cancer Cells.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The defense took place on Wednesday morning, September 10, 2025, in the discussion hall of the College of Education for Pure Science.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the session, Prof. Dr. Jassim Fathi Ali, Dean of the College of Education for Pure Science, presented a letter of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Muna Hussein Jankir in recognition of her outstanding scientific efforts and active participation in the student\u2019s defense.<\/p>\n
