Under the patronage of the president of the University of Mosul, prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, and under the supervision and follow \u2013 up of the dean of the College of science, prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim al-Taie, in cooperation with the presidency of the University of Mosul-Department of studies and Planning \/ Sustainable Development Unit. The head of the Department of new and renewable energies, assistant professor Dr. Ahmed Mounir Suhail, followed up the Department of new and renewable energies at the Faculty of science organized a scientific workshop entitled \u201cThe use of artificial intelligence in the field of scientific research \u201c.<\/p>\n

The workshop was held on the morning of Monday, December 5, 2025 at Ibn Sina Hall, and was presented by teacher Dr. Zakaria Abdul Wahid Hamid and teacher Dr. naghm Salem Mohammed, where the workshop addressed the role of artificial intelligence as a modern tool contributing to the development of scientific research and enhancing its efficiency.<\/p>\n

The workshop highlighted the importance of artificial intelligence in supporting researchers by simplifying access to data, analyzing it, and raising the quality of scientific content, while providing practical examples showing how to integrate these technologies in various research stages, starting from choosing a topic and formulating questions, through reviewing literature and analyzing texts, ending with data analysis processes, using software tools for notebooks, up to academic writing and editing texts.<\/p>\n
