the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, the Department of Geology and Petroleum at the College of Science, as part of its Continuing Education activities and in cooperation with the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit and the Sustainable Development Unit at the University Presidency, is organizing a training course entitled:<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>\u201cDistribution of Agricultural Crop Cultivation Based on Soil Types and Its Relationship to Food Security.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The course aims to achieve the following environmental and developmental objectives:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Raising awareness of the risks associated with the excessive exploitation of groundwater resources.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting food security and contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/li>\n<li>Promoting rational water consumption and protecting available water resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The course will be held from <strong>17 to 21 May 2026<\/strong>, at <strong>10:00 a.m.<\/strong>, in <strong>Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hamdani Hall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The lectures will be delivered by:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Assistant Lecturer Moamen Mohammed Younis<\/li>\n<li>Assistant Lecturer Ameen Satam Ahmed<\/li>\n<li>Lecturer Dr. Alaa Sabah Saleh<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Please note that the participation fee for the course is <strong>5,000 Iraqi Dinars (IQD)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Department invites all faculty members, students, and
