Part of the defense session was attended by the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim<\/strong>, the Assistant Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, and a number of faculty members.<\/p>\n The dissertation, submitted by Nassar Ghani Sabri<\/strong> from the Plant Biology Branch, investigated the effects of selected physical, chemical, and environmental treatments on two cultivars of rapeseed, focusing on growth characteristics, physiological, biochemical, and molecular indicators, as well as yield traits. The study also examined the influence of rapeseed leaf residues on the growth characteristics, physiological and biochemical parameters, and yield of soybean plants.<\/p>\n The research included the identification, isolation, and application of the compound sinapine<\/strong> from rapeseed leaves using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)<\/strong>.
