As part of the College of Science\u2019s commitment to promoting sustainability concepts and advancing scientific research in the field of clean energy, and in line with its academic role in developing knowledge related to the green economy, the college has witnessed the publication of a specialized scientific book entitled \u201cRenewable Energy Economics\u201d<\/strong>, designed to serve as a supporting academic reference for students of the Department of New and Renewable Energy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The book was authored by Professor Dr. Asim Ahmed Issa<\/strong> and Lecturer Dr. Ghada Ghanim Younis<\/strong> from the College of Science, Department of New and Renewable Energy, in collaboration with a number of faculty members from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul.<\/p>\n

The book was published by Academicians and Al-Rimal Publishing and Distribution House<\/strong> in Amman, Jordan. It discusses the role and significance of renewable energy as a sustainable and inexhaustible source of energy derived from natural resources. It also highlights its environmental benefits and comparatively lower production costs than conventional energy sources, particularly in the medium and long term.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the book focuses on the economic aspects of investing in renewable energy sources by presenting an analytical perspective on both conventional and renewable energy sectors. It examines the economic and environmental impacts of dependence on fossil fuels while shedding light on global transitions toward clean energy adoption and the associated developmental opportunities and challenges.<\/p>\n

This publication represents a valuable scientific contribution to the field of energy economics, offering rigorous academic content and sound scientific analysis that benefit students, researchers, and those interested in sustainable energy studies.<\/p>\n
