Department of Biology at the College of Science has registered two bacterial isolates in the <strong data-start=\"176\" data-end=\"232\">National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)<\/strong> database as part of its ongoing academic research activities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"296\" data-end=\"523\">The work was conducted under the supervision of <strong data-start=\"344\" data-end=\"389\">Professor Dr. Israa Ghanem Hazim Al-Samak<\/strong>, with participation from undergraduate research students: <strong data-start=\"448\" data-end=\"522\">Amina Mukheiber Al-Azawi, Naba Faseeh Rasheed, and Zeina Ghalib Shaker<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"525\" data-end=\"591\">The registered bacterial isolates belong to the following species:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"593\" data-end=\"643\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1fmdqhc\" data-start=\"593\" data-end=\"614\"><em data-start=\"595\" data-end=\"612\">Bacillus cereus<\/em><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1fjfzx2\" data-start=\"615\" data-end=\"643\"><em data-start=\"617\" data-end=\"643\">Brevibacillus parabervis<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"763\">These strains were isolated from feathers and identified using molecular techniques based on 16S rRNA gene sequencing.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"765\" data-end=\"886\">The genetic sequences were officially deposited in the <strong data-start=\"820\" data-end=\"847\">GenBank database (NCBI)<\/strong> under the following accession numbers:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"888\" data-end=\"915\">1- PZ272971<br data-start=\"899\"
