With the help of God Almighty, the College of Science \/ Department of Biology is scheduled to hold the discussion of the PhD dissertation submitted by the student Ibtihal Idris Kanaan Suleiman<\/strong>, entitled:<\/p>\n

\u201cIsolation and Identification of Antimicrobial and Plasmid-Curing Agents from Pathogenic and Environmental Pseudomonas aeruginosa<\/em> Isolates.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The dissertation aims to isolate and characterize antimicrobial agents as well as plasmid-curing compounds from both pathogenic and environmental isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa<\/em>. This research contributes to developing innovative scientific approaches to address the growing problem of antimicrobial resistance and to investigate strategies for limiting the spread of resistance genes carried on plasmids.<\/p>\n

The defense will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, corresponding to 2 June 2026, at the Hall of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Hajj Qasim for discussions in the Department of Biology.<\/p>\n
