Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi<\/strong>, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim<\/strong>, the Human Rights Unit at the College of Science, in collaboration with the Human Rights Division at the University Presidency and the High Commission for Human Rights \/ Nineveh Office, organized a scientific workshop titled \u201cHuman Rights: Concept and Generations.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The workshop was held on Tuesday, 31 March 2026, at the conference hall of the Department of Chemistry, as part of the College\u2019s efforts to promote a culture of human rights and spread social awareness, particularly within the university environment.<\/p>\n

The workshop was inaugurated with a speech delivered by Dr. Saeed Khadida<\/strong>, Head of the Human Rights Division at the University Presidency, who emphasized the importance of consolidating human rights concepts and spreading their culture across society, with a special focus on students as the cornerstone of building an informed and responsible community.<\/p>\n
