In the context of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation among Iraqi universities, Professor Dr. Faten Nouri Abd<\/strong>, a faculty member from the Department of Biology at our College of Science, chaired the examination committee for a Master\u2019s thesis at the College of Science \u2013 Salahaddin University \u2013 Erbil, on Wednesday, 4 March 2026.<\/p>\n

The defense was held in the Department of Biology, where she chaired the committee for the thesis submitted by the student Afan Abdulkhaliq Nouri<\/em>, titled:<\/p>\n

\u201cIdentification of Fungi and Antifungal Susceptibility in Cancer Patients with Oral Lesions in Erbil City.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The study focused on the identification of fungal pathogens and the assessment of antifungal susceptibility in cancer patients suffering from oral lesions in Erbil, contributing to improved diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in the medical field.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the defense, Professor Dr. Faten Nouri Abd was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Dean of the College of Science at Salahaddin University \u2013 Erbil, in recognition of her scientific contributions and active role in the committee.<\/p>\n

This participation reflects the distinguished academic presence of our college and its active role in supporting scientific and research advancement across Iraqi universities.<\/p>\n
