The staff and students of Ibn Al-Atheer Secondary School for Girls<\/strong> visited the Department of New and Renewable Energies<\/strong> at the College of Science on Tuesday, 17 February 2026<\/strong>, where they were warmly received by the department\u2019s administration and academic staff. The visit was organized within the framework of strengthening scientific and educational cooperation between the University and educational institutions.<\/p>\n

The visit began with an introductory presentation about the Department, followed by a detailed overview of renewable energy, highlighting its importance, applications, and vital role in achieving sustainable development.<\/p>\n

The program also included a comprehensive tour of the Department\u2019s laboratories, during which the students were introduced to the scientific laboratories and the advanced equipment used in academic and research activities. They were also briefed on the academic programs offered by the Department, as well as the future educational and career opportunities available to its graduates.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the visit, the school staff expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the Department\u2019s administration and faculty members for their warm reception and excellent organization. They emphasized the importance of such visits in motivating students, fostering their interest in science, and encouraging a passion for scientific research and learning.<\/p>\n
