The Department of Biology at the College of Science organized a memorial ceremony in honor of the late Assistant Professor Suhaila Al-Dabbagh<\/strong>, a retired faculty member of the department, in recognition of her distinguished academic and administrative career.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Hiyam Adel Ibrahim<\/strong>, the Head of the Department, Professor Amjad Abdulhadi<\/strong>, as well as a number of faculty members and staff of the department.<\/p>\n

The event commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur\u2019an, followed by the recitation of Al-Fatiha in memory of the deceased. A brief overview of her academic and scientific career was then presented, highlighting her significant contributions to her field of specialization, her influential role in educating and mentoring generations of students, as well as her research activities and dedicated academic and administrative service, which left a lasting impact on the development of the department.<\/p>\n

During the ceremony, the Dean of the College delivered a speech expressing her deep sorrow over the loss of a respected colleague and educator. She praised the late professor\u2019s exemplary character, dedication to her educational mission, and the remarkable milestones of her scientific and humanitarian contributions, emphasizing that her legacy will remain alive in the hearts of her colleagues, students, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.<\/p>\n

The ceremony concluded with a funeral prayer in absentia offered for her soul, with prayers to Almighty Allah to grant her abundant mercy, reward her for her knowledge and service, and bestow patience and comfort upon her family, colleagues, and loved ones.<\/p>\n
