Where science meets practical application, the Department of Medical Physics opened its doors to students and visitors, showcasing the latest medical devices and practical designs used in physiotherapy laboratories.<\/p>\n

The exhibition was inaugurated by the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Hiyam Adel Ibrahim<\/strong>, accompanied by the Scientific Assistant Dean, Professor Rayan Mazin Faisal<\/strong>, the Head of the Department of Biology, Professor Amjad Abdulhadi Mohammed<\/strong>, and the Head of the Department of Medical Physics, Dr. Mahmoud Ahmed Mohammed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The scientific exhibition was organized by the Department of Medical Physics as part of the College of Science Entrepreneurship Week<\/strong> activities. It featured a scientific workshop alongside practical demonstrations of medical devices and technologies used in healthcare and medical diagnostics.<\/p>\n

The exhibition showcased a range of diagnostic medical devices, including hearing assessment and measurement equipment<\/strong>, ultrasound bone density scanners for osteoporosis screening<\/strong>, electrocardiogram (ECG) devices<\/strong>, as well as ultrasound and Doppler imaging systems<\/strong>. In addition, female students from the Department of Medical Physics presented a collection of their handcrafted projects, adding an interactive and practical dimension to the event.<\/p>\n

The activity was organized as part of the Department\u2019s commitment to strengthening the practical aspect of scientific education and providing students with the opportunity to become familiar with modern technologies used in medical laboratories, thereby bridging the gap between academic knowledge and professional practice.<\/p>\n

The College Deanship emphasized that such activities play a significant role in developing students\u2019 scientific and practical skills, promoting a culture of hands-on learning, and reinforcing the importance of connecting education with real-world applications in the medical and technological fields.<\/p>\n
