Her research focused on the synthesis of several heterocyclic compounds derived from <strong>4-amino-1,2,4-triazole<\/strong> through various synthetic pathways, along with the investigation of their spectral properties.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The study included the synthesis of the <strong>1,2,4-triazole-3-thiol<\/strong> moiety through the reaction of <strong>thiosemicarbazide derivatives<\/strong> with different organic acids, leading to the preparation of mono- and bicyclic building blocks. It also involved the synthesis of <strong>3,1-bis(4-amino-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiol) benzene<\/strong> derivatives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Furthermore, the research employed a <strong>multicomponent reaction approach<\/strong> using both <strong>microwave irradiation<\/strong> and <strong>grinding techniques<\/strong> to synthesize fused heterocyclic compounds. This was followed by condensation reactions to produce a series of novel <strong>Schiff bases<\/strong>, which are expected to possess significant biological activity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The examination committee was chaired by:<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Prof. Adnan Othman Omar Muami<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">with the membership of:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>Prof. Banan Burhan Saeed Ahmed<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Harith Mohammed Salman Abd<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Prof. Shaimaa Khazal Younis Al-Azzawi<\/strong> (Supervisor and Committee Member)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">At the conclusion of the defense, the committee commended the scientific quality of the thesis and the significance of its findings, highlighting their promising potential in the field of heterocyclic chemistry and their possible future applications in pharmaceutical and biological research.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This research aligns with the <strong>United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>, particularly:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being<\/strong>, through the development of new chemical compounds with expected biological activity that may serve as a foundation for future pharmaceutical research.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure<\/strong>, through the application of scientific research and modern technologies in organic chemistry to synthesize
