In line with the directives of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim<\/strong>, and under the follow-up of the Head of the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Firas Ahmed Dhanoon<\/strong>, and as part of the department\u2019s commitment to supporting postgraduate students academically and research-wise, while enhancing the quality of scientific performance and adherence to approved regulations and instructions, the Postgraduate Studies Guidance Committee<\/strong> in the Department of Chemistry held a guidance meeting with postgraduate students on Tuesday, February 3, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The meeting aimed to strengthen direct communication between the committee and students, provide essential academic guidance, monitor their academic and research progress, and address any challenges they may encounter throughout their postgraduate studies.<\/p>\n

The session commenced with a welcoming address by the Chair of the Guidance Committee, Prof. Dhikra Ali Fathi<\/strong>, who emphasized the importance of academic guidance in supporting students both academically and psychologically. Members of the committee then delivered a comprehensive explanation of the approved academic regulations and procedures governing postgraduate studies.<\/p>\n

The meeting also included an open discussion session, during which students raised various questions and observations. These were addressed directly by the committee members, who provided practical recommendations and solutions aimed at enhancing students\u2019 academic and research performance.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Guidance Committee reaffirmed its continuous readiness to provide support and consultation to postgraduate students throughout all stages of their studies, contributing to the successful achievement of their academic and research goals.<\/p>\n
