The Council of the College of Science at the University of Mosul<\/strong> held its Seventeenth Open Session<\/strong>, chaired by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim<\/strong>, and attended by the Assistant Deans for Administrative and Scientific Affairs, as well as the Heads of Departments, to discuss a number of academic and administrative matters related to the progress of the educational process within the College.<\/p>\n

The Council reviewed the progress of the first-year students’ final examinations and discussed the organizational procedures implemented to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination process while providing an appropriate and supportive environment for students.<\/p>\n

The Council also discussed the organization of the summer training program for third-year students advancing to the fourth year.<\/p>\n

Regarding postgraduate studies, the Council reviewed postgraduate research projects and the mechanisms for directing them in line with recent scientific developments, with the aim of addressing contemporary research challenges and contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>. In addition, the Council discussed the distribution of postgraduate students among supervisors to ensure balanced supervision and further enhance the academic and research standards of the College.<\/p>\n

The session reflects the College leadership’s continued commitment to developing the academic environment and strengthening the quality of education and scientific research.<\/p>\n
