Prof. Dr. Wasan Saleh Hussein<\/strong>, in collaboration with master&#8217;s student <strong data-start=\"706\" data-end=\"729\">Ahmed Haider Atiyah<\/strong>. The registered bacterial isolates belong to the following species:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"963\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1ndr2p6\" data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"843\"><em data-start=\"801\" data-end=\"826\">Enterobacter hormaechei<\/em> strain <strong data-start=\"834\" data-end=\"843\">AhWa1<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1nnd6zj\" data-start=\"844\" data-end=\"881\"><em data-start=\"846\" data-end=\"864\">Escherichia coli<\/em> strain <strong data-start=\"872\" data-end=\"881\">AhWa2<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"11svk19\" data-start=\"882\" data-end=\"920\"><em data-start=\"884\" data-end=\"903\">Enterobacter mori<\/em> strain <strong data-start=\"911\" data-end=\"920\">AhWa4<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"cvgxle\" data-start=\"921\" data-end=\"963\"><em data-start=\"923\" data-end=\"946\">Enterobacter ludwigii<\/em> strain <strong data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"963\">AhWa6<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"1375\">These bacterial isolates were recovered from the root nodules of broad bean (<em data-start=\"1042\" data-end=\"1054\">Vicia faba<\/em>) plants treated with an aqueous extract of <em data-start=\"1098\" data-end=\"1115\">Teucrium polium<\/em>. Molecular identification was carried out through <strong data-start=\"1166\" data-end=\"1194\">16S rRNA gene sequencing<\/strong>, after which the genetic sequences were deposited in the <strong data-start=\"1252\" data-end=\"1263\">GenBank<\/strong> database of the <strong data-start=\"1280\" data-end=\"1336\">National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)<\/strong> under the following accession numbers:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1377\" data-end=\"1436\">\n<li data-section-id=\"kmp4br\" data-start=\"1377\" data-end=\"1391\"><strong data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1391\">PZ383904<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"ldi3oo\" data-start=\"1392\" data-end=\"1406\"><strong data-start=\"1394\" data-end=\"1406\">PZ384630<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"16397hm\" data-start=\"1407\" data-end=\"1421\"><strong data-start=\"1409\" data-end=\"1421\">PZ393265<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1632ia3\" data-start=\"1422\" data-end=\"1436\"><strong data-start=\"1424\" data-end=\"1436\">PZ393213<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1438\" data-end=\"1817\">This achievement reflects the College of Science&#8217;s commitment to supporting scientific research and documenting the molecular characteristics of indigenous bacterial isolates, making these data available to researchers worldwide. It also contributes to expanding global genetic databases and strengthening studies related to bacterial diversity and plant-associated microbiology.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1819\" data-end=\"2099\">The accomplishment highlights the distinguished scientific capabilities of the faculty members and postgraduate students of the Department of Biology and further reinforces the scientific presence of the <strong data-start=\"2023\" data-end=\"2046\">University of Mosul<\/strong> through internationally recognized research outputs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2101\" data-end=\"2437\">On this occasion, the Deanship of the College of Science, represented by <strong data-start=\"2174\" data-end=\"2206\">Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim<\/strong>, Dean of the College, extends its sincere congratulations to <strong data-start=\"2268\" data-end=\"2309\">Assist.
