Prof. Dr. Enas Abdulmunem Hussein Al-Laila<\/strong>, in collaboration with <strong>MSc student Mustafa Basman Idrees Al-Hayali<\/strong>. The registered bacterial strains belong to the following species:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><em>Staphylococcus arlettae<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Enterococcus faecium<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Escherichia coli<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Klebsiella pneumoniae<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Acinetobacter baumannii<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">These bacterial strains were isolated from <strong>bed sore (pressure ulcer)<\/strong> infections in hospitalized patients in Mosul hospitals. They were identified using molecular techniques based on <strong>16S rRNA gene sequencing<\/strong>, and their genetic sequences were deposited in the <strong>GenBank<\/strong> database of the <strong>NCBI<\/strong> under the following accession numbers:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>PZ359666<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>PZ359667<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>PZ359668<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>PZ359669<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>PZ359670<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The registration of <strong><em>Staphylococcus arlettae<\/em><\/strong> represents a distinguished scientific achievement, as this bacterium has been isolated <strong>for the first time both globally and locally<\/strong> from bed sore infections. This finding adds valuable new scientific knowledge to the global understanding of bacterial isolates associated with these infections.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This accomplishment reflects the College of Science&#8217;s commitment to supporting scientific research, documenting the molecular characteristics of local bacterial isolates, and making these data available to researchers worldwide, thereby contributing to future studies and strengthening the College&#8217;s standing in scientific research.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">On this occasion, the <strong>Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim<\/strong>, extends her sincere congratulations to <strong>Asst.
