Within the framework of enhancing scientific cooperation and exchange of academic experiences between the faculties of the University of Mosul, professor Dr. Sinai Abdullah Ali, teaching in the Department of life sciences at the Faculty of science, participated<\/span> in<\/span> the<\/span> discussion Committee of the tagged master’s thesis<\/span>: \u201cConventional and Molecular Diagnosis of Eimeria spp.<\/span> in Cattle and Buffalo\u201d<\/span> The presentation was made by student Ahmed Abdel Wahed Ibrahim at the microbiology branch of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.<\/span> The study<\/span> sought<\/span> to diagnose<\/span> the types of parasites<\/span> of the genus Eimeria in<\/span> cows<\/span> and buffaloes of different ages and in a number of areas of Nineveh Governorate, relying on traditional microscopic diagnostic methods and molecular techniques, as well as the study of histological sections of the intestine to determine the developmental stages of the parasite.<\/span> The results of the study showed<\/span> the registration<\/span> of twelve<\/span> species of parasites<\/span> of the genus Eimeria in<\/span> cows<\/span> and buffaloes<\/span>, as<\/span> well as the registration of four genetic isolates of the parasite in the GenBank database of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), which enhances the documentation of molecular data and supports specialized research in the field of Veterinary parasites.<\/span> The discussion<\/span> Committee<\/span> included<\/span> Prof. Dr. Seri<\/span> Salem<\/span> Abdul<\/span> Razzaq<\/span> as chairman<\/span>, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Sinai Abdullah Ali and Prof. Dr. Nadia Hamed Mohammed,<\/span> while<\/span> Prof. Dr. Manal Hammadi Hassan supervised<\/span> the thesis<\/span> and<\/span> participated<\/span> as a<\/span> member of the discussion Committee.<\/span> This<\/span> participation<\/span> embodies<\/span> the active<\/span> role<\/span> of the Faculty of science teachers<\/span> in supporting<\/span> the scientific and research movement<\/span>, and strengthening<\/span> academic<\/span> cooperation<\/span> between<\/span> the faculties of Mosul University, which contributes to raising the scientific level and exchanging experiences in various disciplines.<\/span> We wish<\/span> the professors of our college continued<\/span> success<\/span> and<\/span> giving.<\/span> Government information and Communication Division<\/span> Saturday<\/span>, July 25, 2026<\/span><\/p>\n
