data-src-align=\"0:339\">The Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science \u2013 University of Mosul, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, discussed the master&#8217;s thesis tagged \u201d spectral estimation of cefdenir and silver sulfadiazine and the estimation of cefdenir by high-performance liquid chromatography in their pharmaceutical preparations \u201d by master&#8217;s student Abdulrahman Saad abduljabar Al-bagua, in the Hall of Professor Dr. Yusuf Abdullah Shihab for discussions.<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"348:245\">The aim of the study was to develop new analytical methods for estimating cefdenir and silver sulfadiazine in their pure form and pharmaceutical preparations, characterized by simplicity, accuracy, high sensitivity, and low cost, with a full focus on applying the principles of green and sustainable analytical chemistry.<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"603:7\">The results<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"597:5\">showed<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"614:7\">that the use<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"629:8\">of natural<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"622:6\">dye<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"638:9\">extracted<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"652:208\">from\u201d beetroot &#8221; represents an ideal environmentally friendly option and compatible with sustainability standards compared to industrial dyes; being a renewable and non-toxic material, the method has achieved practical success with excellent linearity and recovery in pharmaceuticals.<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"873:10\">Cefdenir<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"867:5\">was estimated<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"884:8\">using<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"893:44\">high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) technology<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"939:10\">with high accuracy<\/span><span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"954:5\">, while making<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"980:7\">it compatible with green<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"971:8\">chemistry<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"988:3\">by<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"992:5\">reducing<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"998:24\">the consumption of organic solvents<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"1023:8\">and using<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"1038:15\">less toxic mobile<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"1032:5\">phases<\/span>. <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"1058:206\">The reaction of oxidation and coupling with the \u201cpyrogallol\u201d reagent was used to form a colored and stable output, and all the developed methods were evaluated by calculating the coefficients of linearity, molar absorbance, sensitivity, detection limits and quantification to ensure their reliability.<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"1268:157\">The innovative methods in this thesis are green and sustainable alternatives that are in line with modern global trends in Analytical Chemistry by reducing waste and environmental risks.<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"1439:8\">The discussion<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"1434:4\">Committee<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"1429:4\">was chaired<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"1448:197\">by Prof. Dr. Moaz Abdullah Najm, with the membership of : assistant professor Dr. Basma Ahmed Abdul Hadi Salim, teacher Dr. OS Narges Khalil, and under the supervision and membership of assistant professor Dr. Lamia Adnan Najib sarsem.<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\"
