Assistant professor Dr. Najah Sobhi Nayef, teaching at the Department of life sciences at the Faculty of Science, published<\/span> a scientific<\/span> research<\/span> entitled<\/span>: \u201cEffects of aflatoxins on the growth and development of secondary hydatid cysts arising from sheep and their treatment with Mycofix in mice\u201d<\/span> In<\/span> the Journal<\/span> of Natural<\/span> and<\/span> Engineering<\/span> Sciences<\/span> (NESciences), a peer-reviewed scientific journal indexed within the Scopus database, and ranked within the Q1 first quarter.<\/span> The study<\/span> examined<\/span> the effect of aflatoxin toxins<\/span> on<\/span> the growth<\/span> and development of secondary adenocarcinoma cysts caused by the Echinococcus granulosus parasite, while studying the possibility of reducing these effects using Mycofix 0.3+.<\/span> The results<\/span> showed<\/span> that<\/span> exposure to aflatoxin<\/span> led to an increase in the number, size and distribution of adenoid cysts in the body organs compared to the control group, while the use of Mycofix contributed to a clear reduction in these effects.<\/span> The importance of the research is highlighted<\/span> in highlighting<\/span> the relationship<\/span> between mycotoxins and the severity of Parasitic Diseases, and the results may provide prospects for future studies that contribute to reducing the impact of these factors.<\/span> The research<\/span> was published<\/span> in Volume<\/span> 11, Issue 2, pages 169-175, and carries the digital identifier DOI: 10.28978\/nesciences.<\/span>262014.<\/span> We wish<\/span> the professors of our college success and giving time, and more brilliance and scientific achievements.<\/span><\/p>\n
