The dean of the Faculty of science at the University of Mosul, professor Dr. Hiam Adel Ibrahim, chaired a ministerial committee assigned by the Ministry of higher education and scientific research to assess the scientific and academic reality at the College of Applied Sciences \u2013 hit and the College of science \u2013 Anbar University, in order to determine the level of scientific, human and material potential, and follow up the extent of applying the approved academic standards and controls.<\/span> The committee included Professor Dr. Mohammed<\/span> Sobhi<\/span> Hamid<\/span> al-muhtarim<\/span>, associate<\/span> dean<\/span> for administrative affairs at the Faculty of Science \u2013 University of Mosul, and professor Dr. Bilal Jassim Mohammed Al \u2013 muhtarim from the College of Applied Sciences \u2013 hit, while Professor Dr. Ali Rashid Ibrahim al-muhtarim participated as a member of the evaluation team of the College of Applied Sciences-hit.<\/span> The evaluation visit lasted over two days, including on its first day, Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the College of Applied Sciences \u2013 hit, the delegation of the committee was received by the dean of the College of Applied Sciences \u2013 hit, professor Dr. Rasim Faraj Muslim, along with the heads of administrative departments and divisions and Quality Assurance, where they were briefed on the scientific and academic reality of the College, the scientific, human and material and approved instructions.<\/span> On its second day, Thursday<\/span>, September 24,<\/span> 2026, the visit included the Faculty of science \u2013 Anbar University, and the delegation of the committee was received by the dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Esmat Ramzi Abdul Ghafoor, the dean’s assistants for scientific and administrative affairs, the heads of scientific departments, and officials of administrative divisions and the Quality Assurance Division at the college.<\/span> A preliminary meeting was held at the Deanship of the college, during which the College reviewed its academic and research achievements, its development plans in updating the curricula, applying the Bologna track, developing study programs and developing laboratories, as well as the college’s efforts in meeting the requirements of the National Classification and academic accreditation.<\/span> After<\/span> that<\/span>, the committee, accompanied by the Deanship of the College, conducted a field inspection tour that included the halls of the college and its scientific departments, during which it reviewed the classrooms, educational and Research Laboratories, the library, graduate study units, student documents and activities, as well as technical and laboratory equipment and supplies, records of teachers, examination and scientific committees, and the extent of their compliance with the controls and instructions of the scientific supervision and evaluation apparatus in the ministry.<\/span> At<\/span> the end of the visit, the Ministerial Committee expressed its appreciation for the outstanding efforts exerted by the deans of the two colleges and their teaching and administrative staff in developing the scientific and academic reality, enhancing the educational and research environment, and keeping pace with the requirements of quality and academic accreditation.<\/span> In a gesture of appreciation, the dean of the Faculty of science at Anbar University, Prof. Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafoor, and the dean of the College of Applied Sciences \u2013 hit, Prof. Dr. Rasim Faraj Muslim, presented letters of thanks and appreciation to the members of the evaluation team, in appreciation of their efforts in the Ministerial Committee and their role in supporting and evaluating the scientific and academic career of the colleges.<\/span><\/p>\n
