A master’s student in the Department of life sciences at the Faculty of science at the University of Mosul, NAMAT Nabil Ghanim Abdul Rahman, presented<\/span> a seminar<\/span> on Wednesday<\/span>, October 21, 2026<\/span>, within the specialty of microbiology<\/span>, entitled<\/span>: \u201cMolecular Docking Screening of Active Molecules Targeting Quorum Sensing in Multidrug-Resistant Bacteria\u201d<\/span> Under the supervision<\/span> of assistant<\/span> professor<\/span> Dr. Khansa<\/span> Muhammad<\/span> Yunus<\/span>. The seminar<\/span> dealt<\/span> with the use<\/span> of molecular<\/span> docking<\/span> techniques<\/span> in examining<\/span> potential<\/span> effective<\/span> compounds<\/span> and exploring<\/span> their ability<\/span> to target the quorum Sensing system in multi-antibiotic resistant bacteria, because of this system’s role in regulating the expression of virulence factors and the formation of biofilms, thus contributing to the study of promising research strategies to reduce bacterial pathogenicity.<\/span> The<\/span> seminar<\/span> was attended<\/span> by a number of teachers of the department and graduate students, and witnessed a scientific presentation that contributes to enhancing academic discussion and developing research skills among graduate students.<\/span> Our wishes<\/span> to the full-time master’s student and her supervisor for success and excellence, and to continue scientific and research giving.<\/span><\/p>\n
