They provide specialized spaces equipped to offer technological support to new projects according to their technical sector, in addition to providing an affordable residency period\u2014often less than three years\u2014during which the incubated projects receive a complete package of administrative, financial, advisory, and marketing services.<\/p>\n<p>The Technology Incubator Division at the Presidency of the University of Mosul is a key administrative unit that plays a vital role in organizing and developing the university and supporting its transition toward third-generation universities. It also contributes to achieving its educational and research objectives. The division is characterized by a wide range of essential and diverse responsibilities, which include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Incubating Entrepreneurial and Technological Projects<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Receiving and evaluating ideas and initiatives submitted by students, researchers, and entrepreneurs within the university.<\/li>\n<li>Providing technical and logistical support to transform these ideas into initial prototypes that can be developed and implemented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Providing Specialized Guidance and Consultation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Offering advisory services in technical, administrative, legal, and financial fields in cooperation with experts.<\/li>\n<li>Supervising the business development processes and prototype creation for incubated projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> Organizing Specialized Workshops and Training Courses<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing and implementing workshops and training programs in innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating with colleges, research centers, and supporting institutions to ensure the quality of training programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong> Coordination and Partnership Building<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicating with governmental entities, the private sector, and civil society organizations to secure support and sponsorship for projects.<\/li>\n<li>Signing memoranda of understanding with local and international partners to enhance the sustainability of the incubator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong> Providing Infrastructure and Logistical Services<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing suitable workspaces inside the university campus for incubated projects.<\/li>\n<li>Providing the necessary technical equipment and resources to enable entrepreneurs to develop their projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><strong> Monitoring and Evaluating Incubated Projects<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing periodic reports on project progress and achievement levels.<\/li>\n<li>Providing recommendations on whether to continue incubation, transition to advanced incubators, or enter the market.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li><strong> Managing and Implementing the \u201cReyada Initiative\u201d Training Programs<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinating with ministerial bodies and sponsoring organizations for the Reyada Initiative.<\/li>\n<li>Developing training programs according to the initiative\u2019s requirements and identifying target groups.<\/li>\n<li>Managing registration, communication with participants, and providing logistical support.<\/li>\n<li>Contracting accredited trainers and ensuring coverage of the required essential modules.<\/li>\n<li>Issuing certificates and preparing evaluation and feedback reports after completing each course.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Vision<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To make the University of Mosul a leading center for innovation and entrepreneurship in Iraq, supported by a thriving technology incubator and an innovative ecosystem that enhances sustainable economic and social development in the region.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To empower researchers, students, and entrepreneurs to transform innovative ideas into successful projects by providing comprehensive support, essential resources, a growth-oriented environment, and strong bridges between academia, industry, and government.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Activating the organizational structure of the Technology Incubator Division.<\/li>\n<li>Developing internal policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Building core team capacities.<\/li>\n<li>Launching the first experimental incubation program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Technology incubators are defined as an integrated and comprehensive operational system concerned with hosting and nurturing projects until they are capable of emerging into the market.
