Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jasim, the Department of Science and Technology Parks at the University Presidency \/ Technology Incubator Division organized a field visit to the Nineveh Health Directorate \/ Main Blood Bank to present an innovative technological project developed by a group of students from the College of Computer Science and Mathematics.<\/p>\n
The project aims to organize and manage blood donation processes more efficiently, contributing to serving a wide range of patients and enhancing rapid access to blood donors and information regarding the availability and needs of different blood types.<\/p>\n
The visit comes as part of the University of Mosul\u2019s commitment to embracing student innovations and transforming promising ideas into entrepreneurial projects and startups by linking academic knowledge with the needs of society and healthcare institutions.<\/p>\n
At the conclusion of the visit, the Department of Science and Technology Parks commended the significant role played by the Nineveh Health Directorate and the Main Blood Bank in supporting innovative initiatives and opening new avenues for cooperation with the University.
