University of Mosul Progresses with Structuring the “Iraqi Cultural Identity” Curriculum to Foster National Awareness Among Students<\/strong><\/div>\n

In alignment with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the direct guidance of the Vice President of the University of Mosul for Scientific Affairs, the scientific committee tasked with preparing, reviewing, and approving the syllabus for the “Iraqi Cultural Identity”<\/strong> course held its second meeting on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. The session took place at the headquarters of the Studies Division for Arab and Foreign Students at the University Presidency.<\/div>\n
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mejwvel Mohammed Mahmoud<\/strong>, Head of the Committee, and attended by its members. This session follows the issuance of an official university decree annex, which added several faculty members from the College of Arts to the committee. This inclusion aims to complete the necessary academic specializations and ensure cognitive integration in formulating the course’s topics and academic content.<\/div>\n
