The College of Tourism Sciences at the University of Mosul held its first Industrial Advisory Council meeting on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. The meeting was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, Dean of the College, with the attendance of Assistant Professor Zaid Raad Younis, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs; Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Talal Khudhur, Head of the Department of Tourism Studies; and Mr. Wissam Abdullah Hussein, Head of the Department of Hotel Studies \u2014 all of whom are members of the council. Also in attendance were several representatives from relevant industrial and tourism sectors.<\/p>\n

This meeting falls within the college\u2019s efforts to strengthen partnership and integration with the industrial and tourism sectors, in a way that contributes to the development of higher education outputs, aligns them with the needs of the labor market, and promotes sustainable development in the tourism sector.<\/p>\n
