As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance community awareness and empower women, the College of Tourism Sciences, in collaboration with the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit at the University of Mosul, developed an electronic awareness poster that was displayed on the college\u2019s digital screen. The poster aims to encourage women\u2014particularly female students and staff\u2014to update their voter registration cards and actively participate in the upcoming elections.<\/p>\n

This initiative reflects the college\u2019s commitment to supporting the role of women in political and social life, promoting the principles of citizenship and democratic participation, and thereby contributing to the creation of a more conscious and equitable society. The initiative aligns with Goal 5 (Gender Equality) by empowering women and enabling them to play a\u00a0more significant role in decision-making. It\u00a0<\/span>aligns with\u00a0Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by promoting electoral participation and fostering<\/span>\u00a0democratic engagement.
