Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, the College of Tourism Sciences, in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Unit \/ Department of Studies and Planning at the University Presidency, the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit at the University of Mosul, and the Continuing Education Unit at the College, organized a scientific lecture entitled \u201cSafety and Security.\u201d
\nThe lecture was delivered by Professor Dr. Alaa Abdullah Hussein on Sunday, January 18, 2026.<\/p>\n
The lecture aimed to empower individuals to respond quickly and effectively to communicable diseases, thereby reducing infections, enhancing community awareness of prevention methods and proper responses, and promoting a culture of safety and individual and collective responsibility.<\/p>\n
